Information
Rosemary essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the stem and leaves of rosemary. The oil has pale yellow or yellow colour and typical fresh rosemary scent. It is a clear liquid without precipitates. It does not contain added solvents, preservatives, dyes or antioxidants.
The main ingredients of the lemon oil are: rosmarinic acid, camphor, caffeic acid, ursolic acid and betulinic acid.
Usage
It is primarily used for cosmetic purposes, e.g. creams, lotions, face masks, soaps. In case of cosmetic usage at large concentration can cause skin irritation. The applied concentration in cosmetic products should not go beyond 3-6%. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.
