Extract from green tea (Camellia sinensis) in propylene glycol. The exract has a smell of tea. It is a greenish brown, non-transparent liquid. A small amount of precipitate is not a quality defect.
Green tea contains flavonoids and cathechins.
Usage
It is used for cosmetic purposes e.g. creams, soaps, shampoos or bath cosmetics. Its usage in foods is not recommended. Recommended concentration in case of creams, lotions 2-5%, in shampoos, soaps, bath cosmetics up to 15%. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.
