Information
Rice germ oil is obtained from rice grain seedlings by extraction and subsequent refining. The rice plant is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world and comes from Southeast Asia. Today, among other things, the annual grass plant is grown in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Pale yellow oil is used as an additive in cosmetic products, especially in childcare and sun protection products. The oil has a high content of linoleic and palmitic acids. It also contains vitamin E and a high concentration of oryzanol. In combination, vitamin E and oryzanol have a very good antioxidant effect. In Japan, high quality oil is a traditional beauty care product.
