Information
May Chang essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the fruits of May Chang plant (Litsea cubeba). The oil has pale to dark yellow colour and typical citrus scent. It is a clear liquid without precipitates. It does not contain added solvents, preservatives, dyes or antioxidants.
The main ingredients of May Chang oil are: citral, d-limonene and citronellol.
Usage
It is primarily used as an aroma for cosmetic purposes, e.g. creams, lotions, face masks, soaps. The applied concentration in cosmetic products should not go beyond 3-6%. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.

Toxicological information
The essential oil contains allergenes: citral (max. 80%), d-limonene (max. 15%) and citronellol (max. 2.5%). No microorganisms neither their toxins were found in the product, it was not produced from genetically modified organisms.
