Information
Green iron oxide is a thermally stable green chromium oxide.This type of pigment has been specially developed for the cosmetics industry. Only selected raw materials with a very high degree of purity are used in production. Because the pigment comes into direct contact with human skin, legal requirements must be met and a high level of skin tolerance must be ensured. It is subjected to a specific testing procedure and meets high dermatological requirements. Good dispersibility is guaranteed with short residence times and relatively low shear forces in processing machines. The pigment is easily split and distributed and quickly reaches its final color. It does not show migration and has a high level of resistance to light and weathering. Green iron oxide is also characterized by an extremely low content of chromium (VI).
General usage
It is ideal for the production of decorative cosmetics, such as make-up bases, powders, cheeks, eye shadows, lipsticks, but also for coloring soaps and candles.
